North West Cambridge

A proposed mixed use development on the edge of Cambridge. MD Ecology is providing ecological support to the University of Cambridge, through Hyder Cresswell, as an integral part of the team that has produced the EIA for this major development.

Major wind farm development in Lincolnshire

MD Ecology has provided ecological and ornithological support to a major wind farm developer, through Hyder Cresswell, in relation to a proposed wind farm site in Lincolnshire. This has included undertaking Phase 1 habitat and protected species surveys, producing scoping documents and consultation with Natural England and RSPB.

Park Farm, Thornbury and Peg Hill, Yate

Proposed residential developments in South Gloucestershire. MD Ecology undertook the ecological impact assessments, liaised with the Local Planning Authority and provided ecological input to scheme layouts, on behalf of Barratt Developments.

Yateley Continuing Care Retirement Community

A proposed new development in Yateley, Hampshire, to provide a ‘retirement community’. MD Ecology carried out detailed ecological surveys, including Phase 1 habitat survey, and surveys for otters, water voles, bats, amphibians and reptiles, as well as undertaking the ecological impact assessment and ecological input to the design and layout of the scheme.
